This project was a site planning exercise. We were given a site and asked to design an office building based on an analysis of available space. We had to investigate codes in order to find out the ratio of parking to square footage for this use. Most of the project was spent going back and forth between parking layouts and building footprints until we felt that the possible use was maximized. The site plan was the most important aspect of this project. We were then asked to design a open floor plan for lease space and a façade for the building.
